Pughoboto’s DEO briefs parties on election procedures

Dimapur, Jan. 20 (EMN): The Additionl Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Pughoboto, Avelu Ruho held a meeting for all the recognised political parties was held with at the ADC office chamber on Sat. The DEO has apprised the party representatives under 13th Pughoboto assembly constituency that everything will be enforced according to the rules of election Model of Conduct. She directed them to inform their respective candidates to maintain separate bank account for transaction which is going to be monitored by the Election observer. A team of Income tax will be in station during the election period, she informed. Every candidate should not incur expenditure INR 20 lac. and above. ADC also informed that for organizing rally /campaign permission has to be taken from the authority. Hiring of lchairs, flower pots, sound systems, tents, banners, hiring of vehicles, posture and others items will fixed at a reasonable rate. The entire item fixation for election purpose will be issued to all the parties in time, she informed. Both SDO (C) Tiayanger and SDPO Vekhrolo Koza also explained the guidelines of the Model Code of Conduct.
