Mokokchung, May 22 EMN: Responding to the re-emergence of war of words between NSCN (IM) and Dr. SC Jamir, Ao Senden stated that it is not ‘healthy’ and would do more harm than good besides creating more division and discord among the Nagas.

Ao Senden also reiterated its earlier stand that the “competencies” that are being negotiated with the Government of India on the basis of the Framework Agreement should be made public without further delay.

A press release appended by Ao Senden President Chubawati Longchar and Imtipokyim General Secretary on Sunday stated that it was ‘well aware’ of the current Naga political predicament.

“There is already too much animosity, distrust and cynicism weighing down the Naga society today,” it asserted.

In this regard, Ao Senden made it clear that the ‘blame game’ was not going to win anything for the Nagas but instead weaken the Naga cause.

On its earlier stand, Ao Senden stated that the Naga people were fatigued by the conflict and were growing more and more impatient with each passing day.

Ao Senden, further, stated that keeping the ‘competencies’ shrouded in secrecy is perhaps the reason why Naga people were losing faith in the ongoing negotiations.
