PTYS destroys seized liquor

Dimapur, Sep 2 (EMN): Having received report that a sack full of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) rained down from the sky and landed on one of the house in Phek town colony in the early morning hour on September 1, the Phek Town Youth Society (PTYS) inspected the spot and confiscated the liquor. After thorough inspection, it was discovered that the raining liquor bottles had actually fallen from a storage room on third floor of the same complex. Subsequently, the youth society confiscated additional stored-up liquor amounting 105 bottles of MC Rum and 48 bottles of beer from one Mrs Teresa. PTYS has served stern warning for involving in anti social activities in the town. Meanwhile, the seized items were destroyed at the dumping yard in the presence of Phek Town Colony chairman, GBs, Phek Area Mothers’ Association and Chakhesang Mothers’ Association.
