DIMAPUR — The Pfutsero Town Business Association (PTBA) has lauded the Phek Police for the installation of CCTV cameras to enhance security and public safety in Pfutsero town.
The association conveyed special thanks to Dr. Pritpal Kaur, superintendent of police, Phek District, for sanctioning and approving the cameras, and to Vethinu Khamo, unarmed branch inspector (UBI), officer-in-charge of Pfutsero Police Station, for coordinating and streamlining the process.
The cameras have been installed at two strategic locations – PWD Junction and Army Camp Junction – both considered critical for monitoring movement and maintaining security. The installations are expected to serve not only Pfutsero town but also neighbouring villages and towns, as Pfutsero is recognised as the commercial and logistical hub of Phek district.
Vekusu Chuzho, PTBA president, said the cameras will aid in law and order maintenance, crime prevention, public safety, traffic management, and other security-related matters.

The PTBA reaffirmed its commitment to cooperating with the Police Department to ensure Pfutsero remains a safe, secure, and progressive centre for business and community life.
