PSA, PWA mourn Lt. Veducho demise

The Phek Sports Association (PSA) had expressed shock over the untimely demise of its member Late Veducho Soho, who breathed his last on October 18 at Civil Hospital, Phek after a brief illness.According to a condolence note appended by PSA President Khosepa Vero, Late Soho was one of the active members from among those where the Association was moulded and being lifted up as to the present status.
According to the PSA sources, Late Soho was the first person and the only one from among the Phekmi community to have represented state under football discipline till date. He was the Silver medallist under High Jump Discipline during 5th Nagaland Amateur Athletic Championship (NAAC) 1990, participated in the 5th North East Sports Festival, 1990 at Agartala, Tripura under High Jump discipline, participated in the 6th North East Sports Festival, 1992, Imphal, Manipur and also participated in the 3rd North Eastern Fraternity Cup at Shillong, Meghalaya, 1993 representing Nagaland State under Football event.
In a separate condolence note issued by Kuveduyi Venuh, President, Phek Wrestling Association (PWA), Late Veducho Soho was one of the prominent wrestler of the PWA and was represented PWA in the Phek Area Wrestling Association (PAWA) and furthermore on many occasions.
The absence of Late Soho in the associations will create a big vacuum which would take a long time to replace a man like man in the platform of both the associations, stated PSA and PWA. The two associations, while sharing its pains and sorrows with his wife, children and relatives further prayed that his soul rest in eternal place with the Almighty God.
