Proud To Be a Teacher

Good morning to all.

“Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family.”

It is said that knowledge is power. Knowledge liberates. By educating ourselves, humanity is liberated from the darkness of ignorance. Every family and every society can move forward with the help of a solid education.

In recognition of selfless contributions to humanity and the promotion of peace throughout the world, Kofi Annan (1938-2018) was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his remarkable service as the seventh Secretary-General of the United Nations. Knowledge and education are important to all societies, and his thoughts on this are noted and appreciated.

The primary goal of educators is to provide effective and exciting teaching methods, which will allow children to learn new concepts and apply them in real life.

A child’s readiness to learn is the most important factor. Various factors, such as the learner’s socioeconomic status, disability, language, homely environment, etc, should be considered before the final assessment.

An instructor’s new way of teaching techniques is heavily influenced by the experiences he or she has had at home and in the neighborhood. There may be biases on these points.

However, a good teacher can ignore, minimise, and even turn these biases into positive experiences for their students (Rashi Nirwani Jain, 2019, Mentor.p.13).

It doesn’t matter how big or small the work is, as long as it’s done well. The completion of each and every task is vital to the smooth running of society in general and the entire nation on a broad scale.

1. Diversity is the best teacher

There is no better way to see the classroom than through a beautiful garden filled with various types of flowers. Each child is unique, and each one is important. The variety gives the garden a very elegant look, and the classes are always unique because of the wide variety of children.

A broadminded perspective is necessary for mentors to embrace and appreciate diversity in its truest form. India is a land filled with diversity, from customs, religion, socio-economic background, language, caste, culture, etc. But it is the diversity that makes India so unique and diversified.

2. A teacher has to break the barriers effectively

There are numerous barriers to education. It is for a multitude of reasons, including poverty, lack of interest, and inadequate facilities, etc. Each mentor should try to remove all barriers as best they can. We are the torchbearers of enlightenment, so every mentor must see that challenging education is challenging humanity’s progress.

3. Art of acceptance is a gift

Accepting the child as he or she is very important. It is important to provide the child with the proper interventions to ensure his or her growth and development. One of the easiest steps to acceptance is changing one’s attitude toward it.

Today’s education is more global and diversified than ever before, according to educationalists. Providing academic education is important, but we must also instil the attitude that no job is too small or too big. Each living being has equal rights, and each one has its own unique way of living.

Proper interaction is necessary to accept and respect every living being, regardless of their minor differences. The school provides the first level playing field for all children. The school should provide quality education to all children, regardless of their differences

Mentors must understand the diversity of every child and treat every child with immense love and care so that they can break down all barriers effectively. This ensures that every mentor will be a special person for every student.
