‘Proposed site for Pfütsero College not feasible’
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 23
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he representatives of the Pfütsero College sponsoring villages has resolved to ‘totally reject’ the site proposed by the Land Acquisition Committee, ‘since the site is not feasible for college set up’.
The decision in this regard was taken during a meeting on September 20 at Pfütsero Town Hall. According to a press note, the meeting was well attended with 138 persons signing and voted the decisions.The house unanimously approved the Pfütsero College Welfare Body and to give full support in the near future so as to check the unwanted elements or fraudulent activity by any person.
It also resolved to strengthen the three members Pfütsero College Welfare Body three members each and select more members from the area to widen the body.
The house also decided to appeal the government to approve the site at helipad, since it was approve and inaugurated earlier by the then Governor of Nagaland, Gen K V Krishna Rao and the chief minister SC Jamir.
“If any financial need arises all the thirty villages shall give its share according to the population wise,” the release stated while also stating not to have any seat reservation with regard to the college under any circumstances to any area, village or land owners.
