Promote Ethical Relationship in Political Institutions Too

Generally the people say that opposition is a system of Democratic Government and there should be a strong opposition. But my personal conviction is that a true and honest representative of the people in the National or State Assembly is to be faithful and loyal to first God and then to the people whom he represents instead of having the spirit of partisanship. He is to be an opposition to anything wrong and a supporter to anything which is right. But a member having affiliation of a party has obligation to be loyal to the Party regardless of right or wrong even it is against his conscience.

Secondly, undue opposition for the sake of opposition is unethical and is only a wastage of time. Denial of a truth is a sin. For instance, once there was unprecedented stride of developmental achievement during Rio’s time, but instead of appreciating it some opposition members said the negative side. Whether the ruling party or opposition, the right is right, the wrong is wrong and the truth is to be admitted.

Having the right relationship with God will pave the way for having the right relationship with fellow men and women in any aspect of life and it is the only way of peace and victory.
