Priyanka to go to Toronto International Film Festival as jury

Priyanka Chopra has been going places for quite some time now. Currently, in USA shooting for the second season of ABC’s Quantico, and now is all set to enter new territory by serving on the jury of Toronto International Film Festival’s alongside big names like Hollywood actor James Franco, Canadian director Xavier Dolan, Selma director Ava DuVernay.
Piggy Chops, as she is fondly known among fans, will be a part of the seven-member jury of the Short films section. The section is the latest entrant in the competition, which allows participants from around the world to submit 60-second films with the help of their Instagram accounts. Following which, the jury will handpick the best ones to be screened at the Festival.
Priyanka has made an appearance at Toronto for her films What’s Your Rashee and Mary Kom. The 33-year old actor is riding high by featuring on the cover of five magazines in the space of a month. The Bollywood star blames it all on Quantico, which is only the second show to be renewed for a second season. The TV show was partly shot in Montreal, therefore has a great following in Canada. Priyanka Chopra is also waiting for the release of her Hollywood debut along Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron in Baywatch.
