Pre-registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India (PUBG) now live on Play Store
Dimapur, May 18 (EMN): Much to the delight of many PUBG Mobile fans in India, the link to pre-registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India (PUBG‘s Indian version) is now live in the Google Play Store, South Korean video game developer Krafton announced on Tuesday.
The news has been positively received by many PUBG Mobile fans in India who were waiting for the official re-release of the popular battle royale game since it was banned by the Indian government back in September of last year.

Krafton officially revealed the new iteration of PUBG Mobile on May 6 for the Indian region and confirmed that it would be called Battlegrounds Mobile India.
Here is the official description of the game on the Google Play Store: “BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA is a game made for Indians. The battle royale game will be released with exclusive India specific in-game events, outfits and features and will have its own esports ecosystem with a regular stream of tournaments and leagues. Be sure to tune in the first week itself to check out amazing launch week events and exclusive outfits to be won!“
Those players who are able to pre-register will recieve four exclusive rewards: the Recon Mask, the Recon Outfit, Celebration Expert Title and 300 AG.
How to pre-register for Battlegrounds Mobile India (PUBG)
Players can pre-register for the new Battlegrounds Mobile India (PUBG) by following these steps:
- Go to the Google Play Store on your Android mobile phone and search for Battlegrounds Mobile India.
- Click on the “Pre-register” button.
- Click on “OK” to pre-register. There is also an “Install when available” option which you can select or de-select. If selected, Battlegrounds Mobile India will be automatically downloaded on your device once the game is officially launched.
Battlegrounds Mobile India is powered by Unreal Engine 4 and has relatively low system requirements — Android 5.1.1 or above and at least 2GB RAM.
