Job interviews can often be daunting for candidates and the thought of losing your dream job just because you couldn't properly answer the interviewer's question would unnerve even the best of us.

Thankfully, Google just announced its new and completely free AI tool that has been designed to let anyone prepare for their upcoming job interviews. The tool is called Interview Warmup, originally built for Google Career Certificate learners, the company is now letting anyone with a mouse and keyboard or a phone to use it for their benefit.

"Interview Warmup is a tool that lets anyone practice answering interview questions to get more confident and comfortable with the interview process," explained Google. "Your answers are transcribed in real time so you can review what you said and discover patterns in your responses."

So how do you use Interview Warmup tool?

Simple. First, go to the website. Next, click on "start practicing" on the home page and then choose the kind of job you are interviewing for. During our tests, Google displayed five job fields that we could choose from: Data analytics, e-commerce, IT support, project management, UX design and general.

After selecting a field, you will be given five randomly-selected questions. Google claims that all the questions have been selected by an expert in that field.

Once a question is read aloud, you can "answer" and begin speaking or you can type out your response. Once you have finished with your answer, you can click on "done." next, you can choose to review your answer immediately or wait until you have finished the whole interview.

You can redo or edit an answer as many times as you would like during the whole interview process.

The tool will give you valuable insights about your answers like if you overuse certain words or if you need to elaborate more on certain subjects.

Besides showing insights about your responses, the tool also offers valuable advice for candidates like "tips for before, during, and after an interview" and "tips for answering specific types of questions."

Overall, the Interview Warmup tool is a helpful AI service that can help you identify areas of improvement in your responses. Google says that it plans to add more features to the tool to help more candidates in the near future.

Interview Warmup works on the latest versions of Chrome on OSX, Windows, and Android, as well as the latest version of Safari on iOS devices.
