Power disrupt in Peren, Medziphema

Dimapur, Aug. 8 (EMN): The executive engineer of Transmission Division, Kohima has informed power supply to Peren district and Medziphema area has been disrupted disrupted due to landslides near KMC old dumping site affecting 33kV AP-1 feeder. “Though the department had restored the line several times during the last 2-3 days it is still unpredictable for resumption of normal power supply to the area due to the landslide which is still continuing,” the notification stated. Informing that the department has been making efforts for restoration of the line, it has requested all the concerned to bear with the inconvenience.
