Dimapur, Nov. 22 (EMN): The department of Power has announced to impose load shedding through the state on rotational basis due to low generation from hydro power generating stations.
Informing this, the chief engineer (T&G) Nribemo Mohzui has appealed to all consumers for judicious and optimum use of electricity by switching off avoidable appliances at this critical time of power crisis as it would go a long way to reduce the duration and quantum of the load shedding.
While regretting the inconveniences, he informed that the department is making all efforts to provide stable power supply during the festive season of Christmas and New Year celebrations.
