DIMAPUR — Power department on Friday informed the public that a newly constructed 33 KV sub-transmission line for power evacuation system from 2.4 MW Duilumroi MHEP to 33 KV AP1 Kohima feeder near 33/11 KV, 2×5 MVA sub-station at Zubza town would be kept energised with effect from March 5 at 33 kilo volt.
The department urged the public to exercise caution and refrain from fiddling with electrical poles and associated infrastructure for their own safety. While cautioning that any interference poses serious risks and might lead to unfortunate accidents, the department informed that it would not be held liable for any such incidents resulting from non-compliance with the notice.
It further mentioned that the charging of the aforementioned electrical installation has been authorised by the chief electrical inspector of Electrical Inspectorate Nagaland, Kohima, dated February 27.
