Power Comm beat MRH FC

Kohima, May 16 (EMN): Viposa’s hat-trick proved to be the decisive factor for Power Comm during a goal-fest encounter as MRH FC were beaten 6-4 at Kohima local ground on Tuesday morning. Playing at the ongoing Morning Premier League, Akum scored the first goal in the 6th minute via a penalty for MRH FC but Michael levelled the score line for Power Comm in the 15th minute. Viposa added the second goal for Power Comm in the 34th minute. Six minutes later, Issac contributed another goal for MRH in the 40th minute through an assist from Akum to make it 2-2 in the first half. However the second half saw the better team from Power Comm as they run their rout with Viposa completing his hat-trick in the 70th and 81st minute, Senpenlo and Gum also scored a goal each. MRH FC made a late comeback with Issac assisting another goal for Imti in the 87th minute and Akum managed to score the second goal in the 90th minute through Along but was short of two goals at the end of the match. Power Comm now has 24 points and move above Medical XI in the second place and one point below the league leader All Blacks who has a game in hand.
