DIMAPUR — A five-day state-level POSHAN tracker app training got underway at the directorate of Social Welfare in Kohima on Tuesday.
The Poshan tracker app training is being imparted to the district project officers, child development project officers, supervisors and POSHAN coordinators from all districts in the state, a DIPR report stated.
The director of Social Welfare, Tosheli, in her inaugural address, stressed on the importance of data uploading in the POSHAN tracker app stating that task performed without uploading data in the tracker app would reflect as task not done.
She asked the trainees to work in coordination with each other and improve and reflect the performance of the state in the POSHAN tracker app.
JPC POSHAN Abhiyaan deputy director, Soren Kikon, has stressed on the importance of uploading of Aadhaar verified beneficiaries in the POSHAN tracker as all the funds for the different schemes are being linked to it.
The training is designed to be followed up with a roadmap for training of ICDS functionaries at block levels to be developed by DPOs and CDPOs.
Around 350 trainees comprising of DPOs, CDPOs, supervisors and POSHAN coordinators are scheduled to attend the five-day training programme.
The training is being conducted by resource persons from State NeGD, Longkumpo Jamir, and SPMU POSHAN. Topics on community-based events and growth monitoring were covered by Peter Vero, BCC consultant, Poshan Abhiyaan.
