Polling officials undergo training in Dimapur, Kohima

DIMAPUR — The second and third polling officials underwent the second phase of training on Thursday in Dimapur in preparation for the general election to the Lok Sabha.

According to an update, polling personnel from Dimapur, Niuland, and Chümoukedima attended the training at Dimapur Government College.

On March 27, the first phase of training for presiding officers and first polling officers for the three districts was held, in which a total of 1,196 presiding officers and first polling officers participated.

Likewise, the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Kohima, conducted the first round of training for grade IV/MTS personnel on March 28 at the DC’s office premises.

During the training and verification of duty personnel, ADC Hq. Kohima and officer in-charge of law and order, Rhosietho Nguori, KMC Administrator and officer in-charge of manpower management, T Lanusenla Longkumer, EAC Kezocha, and nodal officer for training management were all present.
