Politician claims DAN is for ‘all out’ development of state

Minister for Rural Development and REPA, CL John has claimed Thursday that the Naga People’s Front-led Democratic Alliance of Nagaland government was all out for equal development throughout the state.
Stating that unity was a ‘must in order to achieve development’, the politician called upon the people to ‘bury their differences and continue to remain united to reap the benefit of development’.
Inspecting the DRDA office here this morning, John asked the DRDA officers to keep updating the village functionaries on the change of guidelines in the rural development related schemes/projects so as to ensure that the latter act upon the procedure accordingly.The minister also lauded the people of Wokha district for upholding dignity of labour and competitive spirit, and thereby reaping outstanding result in the various competitive exams.
John urged upon the officers and staff of the department to be sincere and regular in their duties and serve the people with diligence.
Earlier, the politician inspected the block development office of Chunlikha under Tseminyu sub-division. Tseminyu sub-division is under Kohima district He was accompanied by director of the Rural Development department Metsubo Jamir, and others officials.
The minister is also scheduled to inaugurate a new office building of the rural Development block of Chuchuyimlang in Mokokchung district on June 19.
