Police recover 47 soap cases of heroin

Diphu — Khatkhati Police recovered 47 soap cases of heroin from a person at Khatkhati railway crossing, Jana Pukhuri at around 12 noon on Saturday.

The person, identified as Kiyeka Ayemi (34), was coming from Dimapur, it was informed.

After examining the soap cases, it was found to be 576 gram of heroin.

SDPO, Bokajan, John Das; Bokajan O/C Mwblick Brama; Khatkhati O/C Romen Bordoloi and C-20 CRPF personnel of Bokajan were part of the search operation.
