Dimapur, April 19 (EMN): A poetry book titled ‘Pinks and Greys’ written by Kebana Thou was launched by Rev. Dr. Mongzeung Mpom, pastor of Jalukie town Baptist Church on April 17.
An update stated that it was the debut book of the author published by Dimapur Publishing Company, containing a collection of 111 poems portraying the life of a regular woman, who faces the bright and dark sides of the world. It added, ‘pinks revealed her lighter side brimmed with humour and satire while greys portrayed her more serious facet effusing the accumulated experiences of her life. There was also a tinge of rebellion at the monotony of conventional and societal bonds.’
An update stated that the pastor in his speech spoke about how the book could be a reflection of many women in the modern world today. He added that the book was profound but written in a way that everyone could grasp the thoughts of the author meaningfully.
