DIMAPUR — Sentsüdy (PB Sen) Yanthan, a young author and poet, released a collection of his poems on December 9 at Pangti Baptist Ekhumko Ki in Wokha town. MLA Achümbemo Kikon formally released the book.
According to a press release, speaking on the occasion, Kikon stated that writing a book is not as easy as many people believe and that it requires hard work and dedication.
The book, titled ‘Müngyanyi’ (Lotha Naga poetry), delves into a variety of topics that hold great significance for the poet and Sentsüdy fearlessly lays bare his emotions in the collection.
His poetry spans reflections on shifting seasons, the Naga national movement, conflicts among churches in the Lotha region, COVID-19, and the themes of love and harmony from the perspective of forefathers, the leaders of today, seasons, as well as imaginary poems.
The book is priced at INR 200.
