Dimapur, Feb. 25: People in Need Foundation (PNF), Dimapur, in continuation of its commitment to People living with HIV/AIDS, has started data collection on HIV infected orphans (single and double) from January 2017 for Dimapur district. The organisation confidentially identified and verified data on 20 HIV infected orphans already in Dimapur district.
The purpose of the data collection is to eventually use it for providing a long term “home-based care support” to the orphans in health care, education and nutrition.
Meanwhile, the organisation appealed to all concerned guardians of the orphans and any individual, with some information, to support the identification of any HIV infected orphan (boy or girl) by contacting the staff doing the survey. PNF chairman Joe Ngamkhuchung has asked all concerned are asked to contact the officials on phone no. 8974990969 and 977 400 3395 for necessary information.
