PM-JAY CMHIS to continue delivery of cashless services — NHPS

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS) under the Health and Family Welfare department has assured that despite technical challenges, the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (PM-JAY CMHIS) will continue delivery of cashless services to beneficiaries.

In a press release, the NHPS said that the PM-JAY CMHIS in Nagaland ushered in a new policy period effective from April 1, 2024, operating under the insurance mode.

However, the implementation encountered intermittent technical issues within the National Health Authority (NHA) IT Portal for CMHIS (EP), it said.

Informing that all efforts are underway to resolve the issues promptly, the society directed empanelled hospitals to submit offline registrations and preauthorisation requests along with all necessary documents, by email to SHA and claim processing team of the insurance company to ensure seamless service delivery till the portal issues are resolved.

“Further, all empanelled hospitals have been directed to continue delivery of cashless services to beneficiaries, failing which necessary disciplinary actions as per the provision of the contract will be initiated against erring EHCPs,” the NHPS cautioned.
