Philanthropists donate medical accessories to Tuensang

Dimapur, June 17 (EMN): Delhi and Bengaluru based well-wishers of Chang Baptist Lashong Thangyen (CBLT) have provided the much needed medical items. The consignment was received by CBLT at its office in Tuensang town on June 17.

A DIPR report stated that 70% of the consignment were distributed to BSL-II Lab at Tuensang town and the remaining were earmarked for few PHCs of the district by DC and DTF chairman, Kumar Ramnikant, in the presence of the chief medical officer (CMO), medical superintendent (MS), scientist and doctors of the BSL Lab along with the CBLT staff.

Meanwhile, the deputy commissioner has appreciated the selfless contributions of the donors/ well-wishers and the initiative of CBLT. The DC remarked that the crisis has made humanity stand united against the common cause and is making the whole world into a single village in positive ways.   

It mentioned that the consignment included imported 2000 N-95 masks, 3000 three-layer surgical masks, 2000 head cover, 1000 biomedical waste bags, 3000 Nitrile gloves, 3000 shoe cover, 2000 surgical gloves, 20 PPE and 300 face shield.
