Phema Khel observes 19th anniversary

Kohima, Jan. 4 (EMN): Phema Khel, one of the eight major clans of Jakhama in Kohima district, celebrated its 19th anniversary on Tuesday.

Chairman of Jakhama Village Council, Zhopo Richa, while exhorting the gathering, reminded the members to live as brothers and sisters and as one family.

Asking the members to forgive one another, bury the grudges and bitterness, he urged everyone to lead by example and contribute towards the uplift of the village.

Also speaking on the occasion, Khwetso Richa, laid emphasis on the need to give time for everything, be it one’s education, career or profession.

Folk songs and dance performances marked the occasion.
