DIMAPUR — The monthly DPDB Phek meeting-cum-welcome programme in honour of new Deputy Commissioner, Kuko Mero, was held on Friday at the DPDB hall Phek.
Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs, KG Kenye, also the chairman of DPDB Phek, welcomed the new DC (who was earlier posted in Phek as EAC and ADC), and said that Mero, being acquainted with the district, would definitely help in smooth functioning of administration in the district, an update stated.
Mero in his address sought cooperation of the officers from various departments and civil societies in the district, for smooth administration of all sectors in the district.
District fishery officer, R Esther Angami, gave a detailed power point presentation of departmental activities during the meeting.
The meeting also discussed the forthcoming celebration of 50th years of Phek district.
