[dropcap]P[/dropcap]hek District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held in DPDB conference hall, Phek on 10th March 2015 under the Chairmanship of DC Phek, Muroho Chotso. The chairman welcomed all the members present which was followed by self-introduction by the newly members.The house reviewed the last minutes of DBDP meeting. The members discussed the following agendas submitted by DC Phek and Sr. Specialist, DH, Phek, Dr. Wetshelo Tsuhah which include Communitization of PHED, Medical, Education and Power departments; Attendance of district HODs; Public complain against BSNL Network and Awareness on swine flu pandemic.
On the other agenda, the DC urged the selected crops based villages to produce quality crops without using chemicals, good quantity for commercial purposed. Informing that the Phek district has also observed Bharat Swachh Abhivan cleanliness, the DC Phek in this regard asked every department of Phek district to maintain cleanliness in the offices. He also asked the Education faculties to be patient and wait government arrangement for shortage of teachers in school. The chairman asked every HODs to be more regular in the station for the interest of public.
The deputy commissioner asked every department to get the facility of fax and networking in the office, he however regretted for poor service of BSNL network in the district. On the topic of communitization, the concerned department encouraged the villages and explained the facilities and the fund availability. The house also discussed lengthy about the awareness on SWINE Flu pandemic.
Executive engineer of the Power division of Phek Kuduve Kezo presented a discourse about the department’s activities. Power point presentation of departmental activities will be presented by the district evaluation officer of Phek and the district employment officer of Phek in the next DPDB meeting.
