Dimapur, Aug 28 (EMN): Deputy commissioner (DC), Phek, Orenthung, EAC Khuza in-charge Luchui Fithu, and the district planning officer, Akulo, paid a courtesy visit to Khuza EAC Headquarter on Aug. 25 and interacted with the villagers of Suthotsu, K Khuno, Metsale, Chepoketa, and Khuza.
In the meeting, president of Tizu area public welfare organisation (Tapwo) Vechineyi has urged the DC to inaugurate the GA guest house, primary health centre at the earliest. The public also apprise the DC to expedite the ongoing road construction from Satheri to Chepoketa under centre road fund and lifeline of Tizu people and Sumi community of Zunheboto district.
In reply, the DC assured to extend possible help to the people. Also speaking on the occasion, the EAC apprised the villagers to avail basic facilities from government with requisite documents. He cited the importance of Aadhar card in the present context.
DPO also spoke on proper planning and cooperation between the government and the public.
Nuvehu chaired the meeting, while T Lohe pronounced invocation. Village council chairmen of Khuza and K Khuno also shared their grievances.
