Phek bids farewell to outgoing DC

DIMAPUR — Phek district administration bade farewell to its outgoing deputy commissioner (DC), Kuko Mero, during a programme held at the DC’s Banquet Hall in Phek town on February 21.

The programme was chaired by ADC of Phek, Ruopfukuptuo Noudi, which was attended by officers from various departments and leaders of civil society organisations (CSO) of the district, stated a DIPR report.

In his farewell address, the outgoing DC encouraged the people of Phek district to give their full cooperation to all the ongoing developmental works in the district, particularly the National Highway. Mero thanked his subordinate administrative officers at the district headquarters and sub-divisions, officers of various departments and CSO of the district for their cooperation and support during the 50th celebration of of Phek district on December 21, 2024.

C Phuniang, SDO  of Pfutsero and Shekhozo Rhakho, assistant controller of LM&CP, Phek, spoke on behalf of the administrative officers and head of departments respectively.

Speech on behalf of Phek DBs and DC’s staff were delivered by Kedechoyi, special grade DB, and Rekheweshe, DC office accountant.

Dr. Vezhoto Soho, associate pastor of PTBC, said the invocation prayer, while the president of Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO), Vezuhu Keyho, spoke on behalf of the public and civil societies of Phek district.
