Phek bids farewell to DC; CMA wishes him good fortune

Dimapur, May 18 (EMN): Phek district administration bade farewell to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Phek, Murohu Chotso on May 17 at DC’s Conference Hall.
In his farewell speech, DC expressed his profound gratitude to his subordinate staff, officers and staffs of various departments under Phek district for their support and cooperation extended to him during his two years and eight months stay at Phek. He also mentioned some of the surrounding villages of Phek district headquarter for their unflinching support and contributions during the construction of temporary school building of Government Higher Secondary School, Phek (GHSS) to accommodate all the deserving students in an around Phek Area.The achievement so far during the implementation of Swachh Bharat at District Headquarter was impressive and appreciated by all, he said. He also said that Phek district headquarter has become the first district headquarter in the state to declare ‘No Smoking Zone’ which he credited to the Phek Town Youth Society, Government officials and citizens.
Encouraging the officers of various departments, he urged them to humble themselves and serve the people with sincerity and dedication and also requested all to extend cooperation and support to the newly designated DC, Kovi Meyase.
The programme was chaired by SDO (Civil) Phek, Dileep Kumar Yadav, IAS. Office Superintendent and head DBs of DC Office Phek spoke on behalf of the Administration department, NGO leaders and government officials spoke also delivered speeches. DC staff and DBs presented special song and Folk song respectively.
In a separate press release, Chakhesang Mothers’ Association (CMA) has wished the outgoing DC Phek, Murohu Chotso a very good journey ahead of his further assignment.
CMA stated that Chotso had served the people with humility, dedication, sincerity during his stay at Phek as DC, Phek.
According to a press statement issued by CMA President, Zapsohelu Venuh, Chotso being head of the district administration, boldly tackle the situation both in times of hard and yielding. The association stated that public has benefited a lot on several aspects adding his dealing with the general public was beyond expectation where love and respects to the people was immensely viewed upon.
The CMA said they are deeply indebted to all his yeomen service rendered and acknowledged his administrative service on behalf of the citizens of Phek town in particular and community as a whole. Further, CMA wished him all the best in all his future endeavours.
CMA also heartily welcomed the incoming DC Phek, Kovi Meyase, who was reported a sincere, dedicated, honest officer. While expecting his early takeover of the office, CMA also assured cooperation in all its upcoming pursuance.
