Dimapur, Sep. 15 (EMN): The Phek District Court and Phek District Legal Services Authority (PDLSA) on Monday bade farewell to Mezivolu T Therieh, NJS, district and sessions judge of district court and chairperson of PDLSA at the District Court complex.
Speaking at the programme, Deputy Commissioner Sachin Jaiswal stressed on the professional relationship between the executive and judicial magistrate and importance of relationship between administration, police and judiciary.
Samuel Ritse, APP-cum-government pleader thanked Mezivolu for all her contributions, for making the workplace friendly, inculcating confidence and a comfort level that brought about improved performance. Project Assistant Kennei Swuro and LDA Kolo spoke on behalf of PDLSA and district and session judge establishment respectively. Retainer Lawyer Mamang also delivered a speech.
Panel Lawyer Vethothi Vero said that during her short stay, Therieh gave her best to uplift the Phek District Court, Phek District Bar Association and PDLSA.
Therieh expressed gratitude to God for being a part of district and session judge Phek and also thanked all those who worked under her JMFC, prosecution, PI and staff and judicial staff and also administration, police and jail authorities for their co-operation.
She also expressed delight for her new assignment in the Supreme Court Registry and thanked Sharad Arvind Bobde, chief justice of India for the prestigious position given to her.
Therieh will soon join her new assignment at the Supreme Court Registry, New Delhi, it informed.
