Phek Area Wrestling Association elects new team

KOHIMA —The nomination committee of the Phek Area Wrestling Association (PAWA) has announced the new team of PAWA office bearers for the tenure 2024-2028.

The new team will be led by Chikhozo Chizo (Khutsokhuno) as president, with Kuto Lohe (Middle Khomi) as vice president, Kuthovo Chizo (Phek) as general secretary, Zhoshepa Chizo (Tuzatsu) as assistant general secretary, Shekhotso Keyho (Kutisu) as finance secretary, Kedukhahi Khamo (Losami) as banker, Veduzo Vero (Mutsale) as property secretary, Surhoneyi Soho (Phek) as technical secretary, and Khusiizo Khamo and Vukusayi Veswu as representatives to Chakhesang Wrestling Association (CWA).

The advisory board includes Thuputhiyi Venuh, Rakhusu Veswu, and Vekuta Lohe.

The new team was announced during the 28th wrestling championship of PAWA held at Phek town on January 30.
