PHED minister donates x-ray machines to district hospital

Dimapur, June 7 (EMN): Minister for Public Health Engineering Department, Jacob Zhimomi on Monday donated two portable high frequency diagnostic X-ray machines to District Hospital Dimapur. The machines were handed over to Deputy Commissioner Dimapur Rajesh Soundararajan and Deputy Chief Medical officer, Dr. Antoly Suu, an update from DPRO Dimapur informed.

Meanwhile, Dimapur District Citizens’ Forum appreciated Zhimomi for donating the machines to the Covid designated Hospital.

In a statement issued on Monday, DDCF also appreciated all the churches, CSOs, NGOs and individuals who have ‘come forward and contributed in the fight against the pandemic, not forgetting the sacrifices made by all the frontline workers’. DDCF further encouraged all the other elected representatives of the district to “come forward and do their part and at the same time every responsible denizens can do their part by abiding by the SOPs issued by the government.”

“ It is only through these collective efforts that we can overcome this pandemic,” it read.
