Pfutsero restricts entry to town without prior permission

Kohima, Aug. 24 (EMN):
The Pfutsero Town Public Core Committee on Covid-19 on Monday resolved to restrict outsiders from coming to the town without prior permission from colony chairman or GB. The resolution came into effect on August 24 till further notification. 

The decision was taken by the committee during a meeting held on Monday, an executive member of the committee said, adding that the resolution was made for the welfare of the community.

Some of the travelling advisories that had been resolved include: if anyone travells to other district, he or she must not hold in the particular district; for travels that require more than one day, the person must undergo home quarantine or isolation for seven days; and if anyone is travelling outside Phek district, the person must take prior permission from the respective colony chairman/GB.

Further, no outsider is allowed to come to the town without prior permission from respective colony chairman/GB, it informed. No outsider’s vehicle will be allowed to stop or park within Pfutsero town, if anyone finds the need to do so, the person may contact 9856124447/7005595809, it said.

In continuation with earlier resolution, people in different areas and villages must do their shopping in the town according to the slot allotted to them. Kikruma and Khezhakeno villagers can do their shopping on Monday and Tuesday; Phusachodu, Chozuba, and Centre Chakhesang range on Wednesday and Thursday; and Chizami and Razeba range on Friday and Saturday.

It informed that marketing timing is from 6 am to 3 pm and no vehicle will be allowed to roam freely without proper reason after 4 pm.

The committee directed all the village councils and youth president of Pfutsero sub-division to strictly adhere to the order. Besides, citizens are requested to adhere to the government SOPs. The Pfutsero Town Youth have been assigned to monitor the resolution.
