DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 22: With the need for quality education and immediate requirement for assessment in educational system brought about to educational institutional and colleges to pursue for NAAC accreditation, and also Pfutsero Government College (PGC), organised an orientation programme inviting core committee consultant of the IQAC from Kohima College, Kohima including the principal of the college, Dr. Watijungshi Jamir, on Nivember 22.
At the prgramme, Moanungla Kevichusa, coordinator IQAC, KCK and Dr. Eunice Alinger, assistant coordinator KCK, spoke on various issues faced by most college and highlighted key areas of development on meeting the NAAC Accreditation quality standards. They informed about the criteria required in higher educational institutions, laid by the agency in terms of performance, outcome, teaching-learning, evaluation, faculty, research, infrastructure development, learning resources, organizational standards and governance, finance and student services.
Former principal of the college, Dr. Jamir, encouraged the staff and the vice principal to work towards achieving the status with hard-work and diligence.
The programme was chaired by Medozu Mero, NAAC coordinator PGC, while welcome address was delivered by T.L. Singsit, acting principal PGC and vote of thanks was pronounced by Wetso-u Medo, assistant coordinator PGC.
