PFP releases Nagamese movie ‘Fight Back’ (Part II)

DIMAPUR — A Nagamese movie ‘Fight Back’ (Part II), directed by Ajay Kumar under the banner of Pooja Film Production (PFP) was released on Sunday at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur.

The chief guest of the programme, Rev. Daniel Shyam, pastor of Neighbourhood Hindi Church, Midland, has sought support and cooperation towards film industry in Nagaland to enable it grow at par with other states, which according to him was lacking for the past many years.

He called upon the government of the day to understand the importance of film industry in addressing the problem of unemployment. He also lamented the lack of schools relating to the industry in the state as well as the absence of dramas in the school curriculums.

The Reverend further suggested the state government set up a film studio in the state to enable filmmakers make meaningful movies in exposing the culture. According to him, films could be in English and short as people nowadays don’t have the time to sit and watch a film for hours.

‘Fight Back (Part II)’ features Yekitoli Yepthomi in the lead role.

The director, Ajay Kumar, informed that the film is an action movie. ‘Fight Back’ (Part I) was release in 2022.
