Petrol price hiked to 106.46 per litre in Kohima

Dimapur, April 3 (EMN): The price of petrol and diesel were hiked again on Sunday by 80 paise each per litre each, taking the total increase in rates in less than two weeks to INR 8 per litre.

Petro cost INR 106.46 per litre and INR 92.61 per litre for diesel in Kohima on Sunday, according to the India Oil Corporation Limited.

Petrol in Delhi was priced at INR103.41 per litre as against INR 102.61 previously, while diesel had gone up to INR 94.67.

Rates have been increased across the country and vary from state to state depending upon the incidence of local taxation.

This is the 11th increase in prices since the ending of a four-and-half-month long hiatus in rate revision on March 22.
