Peren-gears-up-for-Lok-Sabha-election

DIMAPUR — In view of the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha election, the deputy commissioner (DC) and district election officer of Peren, Vineet Kumar, convened a meeting of all nodal officers from various cells in his office chamber on Wednesday.

Speaking at the meeting, the deputy commissioner urged the officers to prepare themselves with the same spirit which was exhibited during the last general election. He emphasised the importance of their efforts for the successful conduct of the election in the district, stated a DIPR report.

It stated that all the nodal officers from various cells shared their plans and strategies for the upcoming election. Discussions revolved around the training plan and communication strategies to ensure more active participation and smoother coordination.

An important decision made during the meeting was the establishment of a dedicated call centre solely for election matters. It informed that the initiative aims to streamline communication and address queries related to the electoral process efficiently.

The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to ensure thorough preparation and coordination for the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha election in the district.
