Dimapur, Sep. 3 (EMN): The 7th Economic Census for Peren district under the aegis of the ministry of Statistics and in collaboration with CSC e-Governance Service India Ltd. was launched on September 2 in Peren by the district’s Deputy Commissioner Sentiwapang Aier.
The government publicity agency the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR) gave on Tuesday updates about the programme.
During the event, Aier urged the district officials and those involved in carrying out the census to ‘work sincerely’ and coordinate with the town and village authorities. He was stated to have appealed to the district officials in concern to properly monitor and provide full support to the enumerators and supervisors so that accurate information and data can be had, the IPR stated.
