Dimapur, June 28 (EMN): Principal of Peren Government College, Dr. Katoni Jakhalu, urged the staff and students of the college to take pride in doing one’s duty sincerely and to uphold the sense of responsibility and dedication to one’s assigned duties.
The principal stated this at the freshers’ social programme held on June 28 in the college premises. The principal also acknowledged the visible rising maturity amongst the students community of the college.
The Peren Government College Teachers’ Association also took time to present an annual Academic Excellence Award to the college topper 2019 Namgwangheile, who apart from topping her class in the recently conducted BA 6th semester examination also have won several prizes at the district and State level competitions.
Vice president of the college students’ union, Rezulungbe welcomed the freshers, while Idaizeule of BA 1st semester spoke on behalf of the freshers.
Iheigumlung and Idaizaule were declared as Mr and Miss Fresher respectively.
