Dimapur, May 1 (EMN): Dimapur District Pensioners’ Association (DDPA) annual general meeting was conducted on April 28 at Town Hall in Dimapur. A press release from the association on Tuesday informed that the meeting was attended by several retired IAS and NCS officers, Heads of departments, and pensioners.
During the meet, a pensioner, Thawang Konyak exhorted the gathering to remain united and guide their children for the welfare of the society. He wished everyone a happy and peaceful retired life.
The chief manager of the State Bank of India, TA Paul spoke on matters relating to banking and pension, and their facilities for the benefit of the pensioners in general.
The secretary of DDPA, C Daipao Krome presented an audit and secretary reports which was accepted by the gathering.
During the discussion the house passed several resolutions for the interest of DDPA. More than 400 delegates is said to have attended the annual meeting.
