Dimapur, August 16 (EMN): The Phek town youth society organised a penalty shootout competition in collaboration with District Sport Officer Department in commemoration of 71st Independence Day. Altogether 59 teams from Phek and neighboring villages participated in the competition.
Losami boys FC emerged as the winners and walked away with a cash prize of Rs. 15,000/- and Excel Six FC secured the second position and was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 8000/-. The third place was bagged by Bros FC with a cash prize of Rs. 5000/- and Alien Shooter secured the fourth position with a cash prize of 2000/-. The golden glove was awarded to Kekhro Mekrisuh with cash award of Rs. 1000/- and the consolation prizes were each given Rs. 1000/- respectively.
