Dimapur, July 4 (EMN): Hevishe Village Baptist Church Youth Ministry organised Summer Open Penalty Shootout tournament at Hevishe local ground on Thursday. A total of 21 teams participated in the tournament.
Social activist Kughaho Khala, who graced the inaugural session as the special guest, appreciated the youth for organising such a programme. He said “through sports we come closer to one another.” While encouraging the youths to support each other, he said there are many opportunities in the field of sports today.
Meanwhile, Penalty Kings emerged champions while Zhexushe FC were the runners-up. Pukha of Zhexushe FC was awarded the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
The programme was led by Associate Youth Pastor.
