Peaky Blinders actor Helen McCroy dies of cancer, aged 52
Dimapur, April 16 (EMN): British actress Helen McCroy, best-known for her role in the hit Netflix series Peaky Blinders, has died of cancer at the age of 52.
McCroy‘s husband, the actor Damian Lewis, wrote on Twitter, “I’m heartbroken to announce that after a heroic battle with cancer, the beautiful and mighty woman that is Helen McCrory has died peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from family and friends.
“She died as she lived. Fearlessly. God we love her and we know how lucky we are to have had her in our lives. She blazed so brightly. Go now, Little One, into the air, and thank you.”

Helen McCroy is best-known for playing the role of Polly Gray in the hit British television series Peaky Blinders, appearing in 30 episodes across all five seasons ever since the show debuted in 2013.
McCroy has also appeared in three Harry Potter movies. Harry Potter fans will remember her as Narcissa Malfoy, the wife of Lucius Malfoy and Draco‘s mother.
The British actress featured in Martin Scorsese’s Hugo and the 2012 James Bond film, Skyfall. She also played the role of Cherie Blair, wife of former UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair in the 2006 film, The Queen.
