PDSA fetes Chekrovolu

EMN Dimapur, August 18 The Phek District Sports’ Association (PDSA) congratulated the first Naga lady Olympian, Chekrovolu Swüro, on being selected for the prestigious Arjuna Award 2013. Though raised in a humbled rural background, devoid of proper guidance and inadequate facilities for a sports person, Chekrovolu overcame all hurdles by her sheer will and determination, the association said in a release adding her feat is remarkable. It said the ace archer has not only brought pride and laurel to the Association but also to the whole of Nagaland.
