Kohima, Aug. 9 (EMN): The Phek District Sports Association (PDSA), on Monday congratulated Abu Metha on being appointed as Associate Vice-President of the Athletic Federation of India (AFI).
The association through a press statement lauded Metha, who is also the advisor to the chief minister of Nagaland and the incumbent Secretary General of Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) as well as President of Nagaland Athletics Association, ‘under whose leadership the association has been empowering the youth of the state in manifold’.
Moreover, PDSA stated that through his leadership, Metha would serve the sports fraternity and the people at large to a greater extent in realising and achieving their potentialities.
