PDA under Chozuba AC cautions against false propaganda
KOHIMA — The People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) partners under 18th Chozuba Assembly Constituency (AC) on Tuesday urged the public not to be carried away by mere information on social media and anti-party propagandas saying that the NDPP led government under the leadership of Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, is committed to protect the Christian faith and identity of the Nagas.
This statement was made following a meeting held in Kohima which was attended by the alliance partner party leaders from the constituency in view of the ensuing general election to the Lok Sabha 2024, stated an update from PDA election committee of Chozuba unit.
The meeting was attended by Veprasa Nyekha, former candidate of NPP; Vezhosa Chuzho, president of NPF; Thupusayi Shijoh, president of BJP; and Vevohu Epao, president of NDPP from 18th Chozuba AC; in the presence of NDPP MLA and advisor of CAWD and Taxes, Kudecho Khamo.
During the meeting, the members placed on record its appreciation to the leadership of NDPP, BJP, NCP, NPP, NPF, LJP (RV), RPI, JDU and Independent for coming together to support the PDA consensus candidate, Dr. Chumben Murry, for the lone Lok Sabha seat. It also appreciated the convenor of PDA election committee of 18th Chozuba AC, Kudecho Khamo, for taking initiative in touring all the villages and towns under the constituency.
Meanwhile, the members took cognizance of the former LJP (RV) candidate, Dr. Chotisuh Sazo, for the fallout activities and demanded a clear stand of the party.
The members further unanimously appealed to all the party rank and file of all the parties to work hard with utmost sincerity and dedication to ensure victory of PDA consensus candidate with huge margin.
