DIMAPUR —Project Constitutional Justice (PCJ) has expressed unwavering support to the Assistant Head Mistress (AHM) of Government High School (GHS), Chare, in her pursuit for accountability and justice within the educational system.

An update from PCJ stated that the AHM of GHS Chare in Tuensang district had demanded from the SDEO Longkhim to release funds with arrears to all the government schools in Longkhim area under midday meal scheme. It stated that her steadfast commitment to transparency and integrity amidst bureaucratic delays, administrative negligence and alleged corruption has ignited a call to action.

In this regards, PCJ has called for immediate release of ‘Cooking cost and food grant of current as well as previous cycles/ quarters’ from the office of SDEO Longkhim to all affected schools in the Longkhim area.

“This demand for accountability is essential to ensure equitable access to government schemes including the ‘Midday Meal Scheme’ for all school-going children,” the release stated.

As defenders of constitutional values and champions of the rule of law, Project Constitutional Justice has affirmed to stand ready to amplify a voice for justice and advocate for systemic change.

“Together, we must unite in demanding transparency, integrity and accountability in the stewardship of public funds and resources. We are standing strong with Assistant Head Mistress of GHS Chare in her struggle for justice. PCJ will provide all necessary legal and administrative support to take this serious matter to the logical conclusion,” said Dr. Aniruddha Babar, director of Project Constitutional Justice.
