Patton, Zeliang, and others convey Teachers’ Day greetings
DIMAPUR — On the eve of Teachers’ Day, various student organisations and legislators expressed gratitude and appreciation to teachers for their invaluable contributions.
Y Patton: Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland, Y Patton, has greeted all teachers on Teachers’ Day.
In a press note, Patton said that teachers occupy a special place in the echelons of society because they burn themselves out to give meaningful lives to others.
“On behalf of the state BJP legislators, the Dy CM salutes all the teachers and wishes them long and fulfilling lives,” the release read.
T R Zeliang: T R Zeliang, Nagaland’s Deputy Chief Minister, has extended warm greetings to all teachers on Teachers’ Day.
In a press release, Zeliang said that Teachers’ Day is a special occasion to express one’s gratitude and appreciation to teachers for their pivotal role in shaping the lives and futures of all individuals, as well as to reflect on the impact of teachers in everyone’s lives.
“Teachers are the architects of society, and only by becoming responsible and knowledgeable individuals, one can acknowledge and honour their commitment to education,” he said, adding that the contribution of teachers will be etched in the heart of every individual.
NSF: The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has extended greetings on the occasion of Teachers’ Day to all the teachers across the Naga homeland.
In a press release, the federation conveyed its deepest appreciation for the role of teachers in imparting knowledge and inculcating the noble virtues of life in the hearts and minds of students to become responsible citizens.
It lauded the efforts and hard work put in by teachers to adapt to the continuous cycle of education and keep students engaged with their academic and other educational activities.
“As the Naga people aspire towards a vibrant Naga society, it is our confidence that our students’ community is in ‘noble and qualified’ hands, which will usher the younger generation of Nagas into a new era of peace and prosperity,” it read.
The NSF acknowledged the contribution and services of teachers towards the students’ community and towards society and wished them success in the pursuit of their noble endeavour.
DNSU: The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) also expressed gratitude and appreciation to all teachers in various schools, colleges, and institutions throughout the state on Teachers’ Day.
The union noted that teachers are the pillars of building a nation as well as the healthy foundation layers of society, and that their work is vital and regarded as a very noble profession.
“Therefore, we take pride in acknowledging their selfless contributions towards building a better society and educating the minds of all young and old,” it said.
ZLSU: The Zeliang Students’ Union (ZLSU), Nagaland, has greeted all the teachers on Teachers’ Day, referring to them as heroes of the classroom, mentors of life, and pillars of society.
In a press note, the union lauded all teachers and educators who ‘shape minds, inspire dreams, and ignite the spark of knowledge.’
The ZLSU said that their tireless efforts, patience, and passion make a profound impact on countless lives, and their guidance and wisdom are the guiding lights that lead people towards a brighter future.
“Today, we celebrate you and all that you do. May your days be filled with joy, inspiration, and the satisfaction of knowing that you are making a difference in the world, one student at a time,” it read.
