Patton urges BJP workers to strengthen party

DIMAPUR — Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton, has called upon the BJP workers to strengthen the party and support the alliance candidate in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

Patton stated this during the meeting of BJP office bearers and karyakartas held at Tourist Lodge in Dimapur on Tuesday. He encouraged the party members to rededicate themselves in strengthening the party in the state and at the national levels, stated an update from the state BJP media cell.

Patton also called upon the party members to support the alliance candidate in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections to be held soon this year. He exuded confidence that BJP at the centre will come back to power with absolute majority.

Patton further assured to look into the difficulties faced by the party in the districts and extended assistance for proper upkeep of the party office.

Short speeches were also delivered by Shilukaba Longchar, state secretary and co- in-charge of Dimapur district BJP, and Yankithung Yanthan, state vice president and in-charge of Dimapur district BJP.

The programme was chaired by Shiyeto Wotsa, general secretary of BJP Dimapur unit.
